So, after doing hand-prints in pure ink and water, I started playing around with the burnt watercolors. This is one of the first I got done, and while it didn’t have the rawness I was looking for, I liked the flow the pattern set in. So, I built a house around it.
I’ll be following through with the hand-prints for the rest of the week (who knows, maybe I’ll go wild and do a couple foot-prints over the weekend) and for next week I’ve decided to work with all those larger brushes that usually collect dust on my desk…
Thanks for coming by!

I so like this series. My kids said “wow”.
I put little stock in the opinions of art critics and paid professionals, etc, but children are different. If a child likes what I’m doing, I feel I’m on the right track.
Thank you indeed, and thanks to your kids!
You have a unique and brilliant whole exhibition here. I love this work you are doing it is joyful.
Thank you, and I can’t wait to see the progress on your newly commissioned piece!
