no. 190 (2) -- Lazarus, raised from the tomb --

Illustration numbers 189~192 of 240 today…

The effects of this flu bug are hard to shake — especially with the eye hand coordination… so I just whittled away at a few landscapes with the pen & ink. I’ll have to attempt something a little more audacious a bit later in the week…

  1. Very nice hand drawn arts. Thanks for sharing Nonoy Manga

  2. These have been wonderful to see over Lent- now Mr Man what are you going to do with them? What about creating an artist’s book?

    • Well, I think I’ll be shipping them off to my friend and leave the next step in his hands. They are to illustrate his poem after all, so I’ll probable view the project as a learning experience and then move on. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed them. Seriously, I was worried I’d lose most of my blog followers with this project!! lol

      • If you just make a difference to one person’s life with your work then that means your life is a success- you never should worry about numbers of people or opinions of others. God’s work is God’s work, this is why Jesus teaches us the shepherd will go after the one lamb and leave the 99. That one lamb is worth everything.

  3. I just love how these turned out. They really do look amazing. Thanks for sharing this art with us :)

  4. You tackled Lazarus! Wowsers! I love these!!! I just finished writing about Lazarus on my Sunday’s cuts…so we’ve been thinking along the same lines! Thanks for visiting my space…it was nice of you! Get better!

  5. Sean,
Hope it’s okay. I put a temporary link to your site on my home page (‘front page’).
